High School Compass is used by high schoolers, many of whom are minors. Please read the summary below in full, then confirm you accept our Terms & Conditions.
Most of our users are high school students under 18, and some may be under 13. By logging in you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to use this site, and that if you are under 13, a parent or guardian has reviewed and approved your account.
We collect the name, email address, password, and grade you provide at signup, plus the school, GPA (4.0 unweighted / 5.0 weighted max), transcript link, classes, clubs, competitions, and interests you choose to add to your profile.
We use this information only to create and secure your account, personalize the guidance we show you, and respond if you contact us for support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Passwords are never stored in plain text. We only share data with the service providers that run our authentication and hosting, and only as needed to operate the site. A parent or guardian can request to view, correct, or delete a minor's data at any time by contacting us.
The guidance on High School Compass is peer-written general information from fellow students, not professional academic, legal, financial, or counseling advice. Always confirm important decisions with your school counselor, a parent or guardian, or another qualified professional. High School Compass and its creators are not liable for decisions made based on content on this site.
